Team Work Arts launched a crowdfunding initiative (#ArtMatters) to support financially struggling artists who have been affected due to the Covid lockdown in India. We supported them for this important cause and collaborated to raise money for a few artists last month. The first phase made it possible to support these artists for medical and household expenses. Now we have an aim to reach atleast 50 struggling artists in Assam.

In October, through #ArtMatters, we have now extended financial help to an additional 25 artists in Assam. This was the result of India’s biggest fundraising gala (“I Believe Art Matters”) organized by Team Work Arts which featured over 450 artists from diverse practices in India.
Our founder, Shilpika Bordoloi participated in this important initiative and extended her support. Below is a small clip of the event.
